Hajar Ben Bouazza is a Moroccan English language trainer, certified translator, and interpreter with extensive experience in translation, interpretation, and language education. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Audiovisual Translation (Dubbing) jointly at Universitat Jaume I in Spain and Université Abdelmalek Essaadi in Morocco, her research focuses on developing a comprehensive guide for dubbing cartoons into Moroccan Arabic, aimed at bridging linguistic and cultural gaps in audiovisual media. She is a graduate of the prestigious King Fahd Higher School of Translation, where she earned top honors and received the Excellence Award from the Minister of National Education. With a multidisciplinary academic background encompassing languages, translation, and finance, she combines linguistic expertise with a strong understanding of communication and digital content creation. Her professional experience spans translation, project management, and English language training, with a focus on legal, marketing, and technical translation, as well as subtitling and audiovisual adaptation. Passionate about education and cross-cultural communication, she has contributed to curriculum innovation by integrating digital tools and practical English training tailored to diverse technical fields. Fluent in English, French, Modern Standard Arabic, and Moroccan Arabic, with working knowledge of German, she brings a multicultural and multilingual perspective to her academic and professional work. Her research and teaching activities demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of translation studies and promoting linguistic diversity in global media.
