Dr. Laura Moreno Galarraga is an accomplished pediatrician and academic specializing in pediatric pulmonology with extensive experience in both clinical practice and research. She earned her medical degree from the University of Navarra and completed her specialization in pediatrics at Virgen de las Nieves Hospital in Granada, followed by a Ph.D. in Medicine from the University of Granada. She has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Navarra and later at the Public University of Navarra, contributing significantly to the fields of preventive medicine and child health. As a pediatric pulmonologist at the University Hospital of Navarra, she has developed expertise in respiratory disorders in children and has been accredited by the Spanish Association of Pediatrics. Dr. Moreno Galarraga leads the Preventive Pediatric Research Group at the Navarra Health Research Institute and coordinates the SENDO Pediatric Cohort Study. Her research focuses on preventive pediatrics, respiratory health, and the early determinants of childhood diseases. She has collaborated in multiple national and international clinical trials, including projects on influenza vaccination, respiratory infections, and vaccine immunogenicity. Her scholarly output includes numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals addressing pediatric asthma management, COVID-19, and cystic fibrosis.
