Dr. Shahin completed his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology (2016–2023). His doctoral research focused on the synthesis and characterization of hemocompatible DLC coatings on AZ31 magnesium alloys. He also holds an M.Sc. in Materials Engineering – Materials Characterization from Bu Ali Sina University (2013–2016), working on nanostructured Al-(W,Ti)-C compounds. His academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Materials Engineering and Metallurgy from Islamic Azad University of Najaf Abad (2008–2013).

Professional Experience 

Dr. Shahin currently serves as the Head of the Department of Materials and Mechanical Engineering at Allame Naeini Institute of Higher Education (2017–2024). He has been a university lecturer since 2016, teaching courses in both materials and mechanical engineering at institutions such as Allame Naeini Institute, Islamic Azad University (Najafabad and Shahrekord branches), and Shahrekord University. In addition to his teaching duties, he has actively supervised 10 M.Sc. theses, advised 16, and evaluated 3 others, reflecting his deep involvement in graduate-level mentoring.
