He is currently a Teaching Medical Physicist at Bharathidasan University and a Mentor at the International Commission on Radiation Protection (TG 126). He has also worked as a Clinical Research Scientist and Principal at Harshamitra Super Specialty Cancer Center (2021-2022) and Head of the Department at Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College, Coimbatore (2019). Additionally, Dr. Venkatraman has served as an Assistant Professor and Innovation Member in applied sciences at the same institution. He is involved in cutting-edge research, including developing Monte Carlo simulations for kilo voltage arc treatments and establishing advanced radiation protection laboratories. His research interests also extend to radiation dosimetry in cancer treatment, specifically in advanced techniques like 3DCRT, IMRT, and RapidArc VMAT.
