Assist. Prof. Dr. Alireza Talesh Jafadideh is a biomedical engineering researcher specializing in brain-signal processing, neural dynamics, and computational neuroengineering. His work integrates EEG, MEG, fMRI, and DTI with machine learning, graph theory, and mathematical modeling to identify discriminative biomarkers and improve neural source localization. He investigates neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, OCD, Parkinson’s disease, and substance-use disorders. His contributions include structural filtering, topological data analysis, recurrence quantification, and adaptive beamforming. Through multimodal imaging and advanced analytics, he advances diagnostic tools, emotion and cognitive-state classification, and deeper insights into functional connectivity and transient neural network changes.
