Dr. Tcheka’s academic journey began at the University of Yaoundé I, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1992. He went on to complete his Master’s degrees in 1993 and 2003. He later earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2009 through a joint program between the University of Yaoundé I and the University of Angers in France. His doctoral studies laid the foundation for his research in homotopy theory and algebraic structures.

With nearly three decades of academic service, Dr. Tcheka has held several teaching and research roles. From 1995 to 2005, he worked as a Mathematics teacher at the Higher Government School. He then joined the University of Dschang as an Assistant Lecturer in 2005, progressed to Lecturer in 2010, and became an Associate Professor in 2020.
