Professor Linchang Miao is a renowned expert in geotechnical engineering at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering, Southeast University, China. With more than forty years of academic, research, and consulting experience, he has made significant contributions to geotechnical and geophysical investigations, particularly in the areas of phononic crystals for vibration reduction, geotechnical metamaterials, biogeotechnology, unsaturated soil mechanics, and soil improvement technologies.
