Haider Al-Juboori is an experienced researcher, educator, and certified project manager with over 5 years of expertise in precision design, computer vision, optical systems, and project management. He holds dual Ph.D.s in Ultra-Fast Dynamics from University College Dublin and Optoelectronics Systems from Nahrain University. His post-doctoral work at leading institutions such as the German Center for Aeronautics and Space and DESY has focused on optical systems and adaptive optics. Currently a lecturer at the Institute of Technology Carlow, he has published widely, holds patents in ultra-fast optical systems, and is an active member of IEEE, OSA, and SPIE.

🎓 Educational Background :

Haider Al-Juboori holds a Ph.D. in Ultra-Fast Dynamics from University College Dublin, Ireland (2019), a Ph.D. in Engineering with a specialization in Optoelectronics Systems from Nahrain University, Iraq (2005), and both a Master’s (2001) and Bachelor’s degree (1999) in Optoelectronics Systems from Nahrain University, where he graduated first in his class. Additionally, he completed post-doctoral research at the German Center for Aeronautics and Space (DLR) in 2013 and at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in 2010, both in Germany.

💼 Professional Experience :

Dr. Al-Juboori is currently a lecturer at the Institute of Technology Carlow, Ireland, in the Department of Aerospace and Electronic Engineering since December 2019. Prior to this, he served as a Research Scholar at University College Dublin from 2016 to 2019, and as a visiting scientist at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2018. He held a full-time academic post at Philadelphia University, Jordan (2015–2016), and worked at Tikrit University, Iraq, from 2011 to 2015, where he also directed the Computer and Informatics Center and coordinated international scientific cooperation. His international experience extends to working at prestigious institutions like the German Center for Aeronautics and Space (DLR) and Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), focusing on advanced optical and imaging systems. Earlier in his career, he was the technical manager for the Department of Advanced Technologies at Issam Bureau Group, Iraq, from 2004 to 2006, overseeing renewable energy technologies and laboratory equipment.
