Dr. Omotara Adeeko is an accomplished scholar and educator in the field of economics with expertise spanning development economics, international trade and finance, applied macroeconomics, and applied microeconomics. She earned her doctorate in economics with research focusing on efficiency and total factor productivity among developing economies, following a master’s degree that explored the relationship between poverty and the informal sector, and a bachelor’s degree in economics. Dr. Adeeko has produced significant research contributions, including studies on agricultural commodity price forecasting, efficiency and productivity in manufacturing industries, and the economic dynamics of military spending, alongside several working papers addressing efficiency in African economies, productivity growth, economic discrimination, and the intersection of personal finance and social behavior. His research has gained international recognition, with seven citations across seven documents, two indexed publications, and an h-index of one. His teaching portfolio covers a wide range of subjects such as macroeconomic and microeconomic theory, monetary economics, sustainability, managerial economics, business statistics, and environmental economics.
