Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar (2013-2018), with a commendable 76.4% 🎓.

Professional Experience :

Ishrat has gained significant experience in both research and academia. She is currently working as a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, NIT Srinagar, where she has been contributing since November 2022 🔬. Before this, she served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the Government College of Engineering and Technology Safapora, Ganderbal, J&K, from February 2021 to November 2022 👩‍🏫.

Ishrat’s research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and smart agriculture 🌐🤖. She is particularly focused on applying AI and deep learning techniques to improve saffron cultivation and other agricultural practices.
