Ms. Rabia Iftikhar | Environmental Science | Research Excellence Award
Xi’an Jiaotong University | China
Ms. Rabia Iftikhar is an emerging researcher in environmental nanotechnology and advanced materials, with a focus on sustainable wastewater treatment and catalytic processes. Her research integrates nanomaterials synthesis, green chemistry, and advanced oxidation processes for the remediation of dye-contaminated effluents. She has contributed to studies on iron-coated reduced graphene oxide (Fe-RGO) as an efficient catalyst in heterogeneous catalytic ozonation and on green-synthesized ZnO nanoparticles for antimicrobial applications. Her interdisciplinary work spans environmental chemistry, materials science, and energy–environment systems, including green hydrogen deployment. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and is actively engaged in research addressing industrial wastewater pollution, resource recovery, and sustainable treatment technologies.
